About Our Advisory Committees

Carolina Complete Health invites members to join one of our two Member Advisory Committees.

Carolina Complete Health invites members and caregivers to join one of our Member Advisory Committees.  These committees meet quarterly to share feedback on improving services, communications, and overall member experience. Meetings are held in person or virtually, and members who participate can receive up to $300 in stipends per year1 for partcipating.  If you're 18 or older, we welcome your voice in helping shape the future of our health plan.

1Carolina Complete Health Member Advisory Committee members can receive up to $300 in stipends (or $75 for each quarterly meeting they attend). Limit four gift cards per member over their one-year committee term. Must attend meetings to receive stipends.


Our Advisory Committees

 

Member Advisory Committee (MAC)

The Member Advisory Committee is open to all Carolina Complete Health members and their caregivers.  This quarterly committee provides feedback on a wide range of topics, including members ervices, communications, Value-Added Services, provider experiences,  and overall satisfaction with the health plan. Space is limited per region.

 

LTSS Member Advisory Committee (LMAC)

The LTSS Member Advisory Committee is specifically for members enrolled in Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) care management. This committee focuses on the unique needs and expereinces of LTSS members, helping Carolina Complete Health imporve services and supports for individduals with ongoing care needs.

To be eligible for the MAC:

  1. You must be an active Carolina Complete Health member over the age of 18 or the parent, guardian, or caregiver of a member.
  2. Not enrolled in Care Management Services

To be eligible for the LMAC:

  1.  You must be an active Carolina Complete Health member over the age of 18 or the parent, guardian, or caregiver of a member.
  2. Member must be enrolled in Care Management Services and receive services in your home provided by a medical provider.
  3. Member must have a care manager who comes to your home for visits.

Both the Member Advisory Committee and the LTSS Member Advisory Committee will meet 4 times a year typically in March, June, September, and December. Specific dates and times will be provided prior to each meeting.

Both the Member Advisory Committee and the LTSS Member Advisory Committee members can participate in meetings in-person or virtually via computer or phone. We will provide locations and call-in information in advance of the meetings. 

  • If you would like to participate in your committee meeting in-person and need transportation, we can provide through our vendor Modivcare (up to 30 miles each way). 
  • If you would like to participate in the committee meeting virtually, we ask that you use the camera on your computer or phone if available so you can be fully engaged with other committee members.  If you do not have the equipment or need assistance with technology, we can help.  
  • Active member participation in the committee is important.  We ask that each committee member provide at feedback throughout the meeting.
